A verified email
Your Roblox account must have a verified email address.
Aged 13 or older
You have to be at least 13 to cash out.
Good standing
Your account has to follow Roblox's Terms of Use and Community Standards.
Earned Robux only
Robux from selling passes, developer products, subscriptions, private servers, avatar items and Creator Store items, plus Creator Rewards. Bought, gifted, traded and transferred Robux and monthly subscription Robux don't count.
A DevEx portal account and tax form
Roblox pays through its DevEx portal, run by Tipalti. You add your payment method there, plus a W-9 if you pay US taxes or a W-8 if you don't.

How to cash out
Open Cash Out in Creator Hub
Go to Finances in Creator Hub and choose Cash Out.
Send the request
Enter how many Robux to cash out, use your legal name and accept the terms. Roblox holds those Robux while it reviews the request and gives them back if it says no.
Set up the DevEx portal
The first time, Roblox emails you an invite to its DevEx portal. Add your payment method and tax form within a week, or the request is declined and the Robux returned.
Wait for the money
About 10 business days the first time and about 5 after that, not counting weekends and holidays, plus however long your bank takes.

How often you can cash out
You can complete one DevEx request each calendar month. If you cash out in January, your next request goes in February.
Roblox Wallet is coming
Roblox announced Wallet on September 11, 2026. From December 2026, US creators aged 18 or older who work as sole proprietors can open one. Cleared earnings then go into it in US dollars every business day, at the same DevEx rates, after a hold of up to 30 days. There's no request to send and no monthly wait. Roblox plans to end DevEx in the US in mid-2027, and Robux you earned before opening a Wallet can still be cashed out through DevEx. Read Roblox's announcement
